Accessibility statement

Everyone should be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control.

Our standard

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which also covers Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the ADA Title II web rule for state and local governments.

What we do

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content.
  • Text meets AA colour contrast, and pages reflow cleanly at 400% zoom and on small phones.
  • Forms name every field, explain errors in words and list them at the top of the form.
  • Agendas and minutes are published as web pages, not only as PDFs.
  • Meeting videos have captions.
  • The site respects your device setting for reduced motion.

Known gaps

Some older PDF documents are not fully accessible yet. Ask for any document in another format and we will send it within 5 business days.
